“Yellowstone” won’t be on Peacock any time soon. Here’s how to watch Season 5’s new episodes (for free)

At the beginning of November, “Yellowstone,” the biggest show on TV, made its triumphant return with the second half of season 5.

However, now that the 21-month wait for a new episode has ended, there remains a pretty big lingering question: when will season 5 part 2 make it to Peacock? The NBC official streaming platform does not release episodes the day after they air, which has made this a source of confusion for years.
Long story short, “Yellowstone” won’t be on Peacock any time soon. But that doesn’t mean you’re locked out of catching up on the season if you’ve already fallen behind.
So, if you’re hoping to catch up on “Yellowstone” season 5 part 2, or even want to watch earlier episodes of the series, we’ve got you covered.
Check out our “Yellowstone” ultimate streaming guide to catch up on every episode before season 5 pt. continues on Nov. 24.
Not on Peacock, unfortunately.
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t easy ways to catch up with “Yellowstone” season 5 part 2.
There are a handful of live TV streaming services that carry the episodes live as they air. They also offer the new episodes on-demand for a few weeks afterwards, in case you weren’t around to watch when they were airing.
Each of the following services currently offers “Yellowstone” season 5 part 2 episodes to watch on demand:
Each service can also be used to record the show through their DVR functions, and they all offer a free trial if you’re looking to try them out.
There is no official confirmation regarding the Peacock release of “Yellowstone” season 5 part 2.
However, the first half of season 5 concluded on Jan. 1, 2023. A little more than 5 months later, on May 25, those first 8 episodes of the season were released on Peacock.
Assuming there are no interruptions to the show’s release schedule, the series will air its finale around Dec. 15. This makes it likely (but not guaranteed) that the series will be available to view, in its entirety, sometime in May of 2025.

Despite airing on the Paramount Network, “Yellowstone” is not currently available on Paramount Plus, and will not be for the foreseeable future. Instead, exclusive streaming rights to the series belong to Peacock.
Right now, you can even get Peacock at a major discount ahead of Season 5 pt. 2’s release. You can get Peacock for $7.99 per month to watch with ads, or $13.99 to watch without them.
The streaming service offers the first five seasons of the show on-demand.
The sole season of “1883″ is only available on Paramount Plus. There are no other places to watch it. The same is true of “1923.”
You can sign up for Paramount Plus on the streaming service’s website. Currently, Paramount Plus features two subscription plans: a “limited commercials” option for $6 per month ($60 annually), and a premium “no commercials” option for $12 per month ($120 annually). You can try out either tier with a full 7-day free trial.
Paramount Plus will also be the home of upcoming “Yellowstone” spinoffs such as “1944,” the sequel to “1923,” and present-day spinoff “6666.”
Remember, though, that while Paramount Plus carries the “Yellowstone” spinoffs, it does not carry new or old seasons of “Yellowstone” itself.
