    Description

    1957 ORIGINAL BOXED SET #6097 "SWEETHEART DOLLS" 3  10 1/2-INCH TALL PAPER DOLLS WITH CLOTH CLOTHES
    This is JUST ONE OF MANY BOXED SETS OF PAPER DOLLS FOUND IN MY late sister's collections.
    This is SAALFIELD'S "SWEETHEART DOLLS" BOXED set that dates to 1957.  This is set #6097 that includes: 3 Lovely Dolls, Dresses, Collars, Jackets, Ribbon Sashes, a Clothes Tree, and Hangers.  The Clothes tree needs one of its stands repaired.    The dolls come with their original cardboard stands.  The clothing for the dolls is all made of cloth and have both fronts and backs to the dresses that then can be tied at the waist with the ribbon sashes.   Just look at the picture on the lid for ways to dress the dolls. One of the dolls does have a crease on one arm.     The original box for the set does have some condition issues as 2 corners on the lid are split and the lid does have some staining.
