2 Paper Doll Books Antique Fashion of the 1890's & Godey's Lady's Book 1840-54

one new and one slightly used
, and are ready to find a new home with someone who admires the fascinating world of fashion through the ages.  I purchased most of them on vacations for their artwork and information and/or story lines.  Time to start thinning out my book shelves.
Sorry I could not include all the plates due to the 12 picture limit, but they are all incredible.
'Antique Fashion Paper Dolls Of The 1890's From the Collection of the Boston Children's Museum' 1984 Dover Publications is
New.
It includes 16 Plates full of costumes of the times with two lovely ladies of
Boston Herald
fame to dress for all occasions.  These dolls were originally in the
Boston Herald
publications of 1895 and are posed the same, so all outfits can be interchangeable between the dolls.

It includes 16 Plates, but the the 13th and 14th one are missing a doll and one outfit (See picture 6).  The rest are all intact with 6 dolls including 5 women and 1 girl.  The artist did a great job of making the costumes look like the Godey prints of the past.
