    In the early 1800s, the American inventor Robert Fulton, while in France, "conceived the idea of destroying ships by introducing floating mines under their bottoms in submarine boats". He coined the term "torpedo" in reference to the explosive charges with which he outfitted his submarine Nautilus.
    Introducing the Nautilus table clock, which weighs a hearty 7.85 lbs. It hearkens back to circa 1902 when the French submarine and torpedo industry was in full swing.  The shape and components and the

    on this most intricate timepiece feature several moving parts, including a
    solid brass four-blade propeller
