    Description

    Complete set of 6 floral paper dolls advertising Enameline, the modern stove polish. Each depicts a young girl in a pretty dress, holding flowers, and the dolls were named for the flowers they held: Rose, Pansy, Poppy, Chrysanthemum, Violet, and Primrose. The reverse of the doll has advertising information promoting Enameline stove polish - now sold in paste, cake and liquid form - and has the polish's manufacturer J. L. Prescott & Co's address. Printed towards the bottom on the back is information on obtaining the 6 dolls in this set by sending in 2 2-cent stamps or 3 1-cent stamps and 3 Enameline labels. Each 5 1/4" x 2".
