An F-Theta or Flat Field lens allows a laser beam to maintain focus while being scanned across a flat target.  This lens was extracted from a high brightness video display system along with the high power 405nm laser diodes you'll find in another listing.  The focal length for a collimated beam is about 30cm.  That can be changed if you have an adjustable focus laser.  This results in a flat field of 20 x 15 inches (about 380 x 500mm). There is a mask inside the lens that defines this 4:3 ratio so 380x380mm is probably the largest square field possible.
It is AR coated specifically for 405nm so is very low loss. We've also tested these with a 450nm laser and measured about 97% throughput which is about as good as you can expect from a multi-element lens like this.
The lens is about 110mm diameter with an input aperture of 50mm. Overall thickness is about 65mm. The input end is 3.25" diameter (82.5mm). It weighs in at about 2lb
