Gus Szamboti Blank by the Great Cuemaker Jimmie Ingram Cue ca70's Bridged Points

This is one of my special cues, need I say more. Purchased this about 6 or 7 years ago, when I received the cue the finish was practically worn off and the wrap was literally falling off, in one of the before pics you can see some electrical tape holding the wrap on. I took the cue to Stacey Custom Cues and had Mike refinish and rewrap, he did a superb job. Nice thing about Jimmie's branding the Ingram into the wood as it was preserved. Jimmie is still with us and I've had three cuemakers check it out and it is a Gus Szamboti blank which Jimmie was known to work with among many others. I wanted viewers to see it before and after, after the refinish I was astonished at how beautiful the cue looked, Four Points with Four Veneers that are
luminous
in the light like the old French Veneers, a rich Birdseye Maple Forearm, the Base of the Points are Bridged with a Ring, the Ebony Butt has Four Rings that look to be the Good Stuff with a Delrin Butt Cap, the Joint is Micarta First Generation I would say, the 3/8x10 pin looks to be Iron, Wooden Blocks on Joint Collars, high Grade Curly Maple Shaft, the Ferrule is the Good Stuff also and I'm pretty sure the tip is Kamui, with a nice tight Linen Wrap. I think the Joint Protectors are Olive Wood, they match the cue by color. When rolled on my granite counter the cue has a slight lift at the Joint, not perfect but for a 50 year old cue its nominal, you can't get a credit card under it. Will ship in a case for protection. I have a friend who has a Szamboti and I keep telling him that this is as close as this poor boy can get to it, he thinks so also. I just sold my 2nd Tad and felt sick afterwards, selling this won't make me feel any better......
Specs: Butt length is 29 inches and weighs in at 15.2 ounces
Shaft length is 29 1/4 inches, weighs in at 4.6 ounces with 13mm Tip
