    Description

    This set was a souvenir for the 2005 National Paper Doll Convention held in Los Angeles, California and "Those Were the Days" was the theme. Tom Tierney contributed this rare French version of "Beauty and the Beast".  This has 2 dolls with 6 costumes and it comes in an unusual folio cover.  The folder does have a crease that doesn't affect the contents.  This set comes with the "proclamation" by Gene Maiden to make Tierney "Sir Thomas".  I haven't seen this set very often.  It's a wonderful souvenir that is a very nice addition for you collection!!!
    I've bought my huge collection from estate sales and from other collectors on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
