Shogun U-Combine Combatra Combattra Vehicle 1, 2, 3, 4, & 5 Set 1978 Mattel box

Mattel Shogun U-Combine
vehicles which combine to become
Combatra
and their assorted accessories and boxes. I am not an expert on these particular toys, so I have endeavored to take detailed photographs and will attempt to accurately describe the items. All items are sold AS IS.
Please note that I wiped the dust off of the boxes with a paper towel, but did not clean the toy itself. It is dusty in places and will certainly clean up to look even nicer than it does in the photos.
Vehicle No. 1 (Battle Jet)
comes with a two-piece jet and 2 yellow missiles. The springs that fire the missiles are intact and function, though they don't shoot the missiles very far. The paint and stickers appear to be in excellent condition (refer to photos). One of the yellow antennas appears to be missing the very tip. Box is complete and has Styrofoam insert.
Vehicle No. 2 (Battle Clasher)
comes with a two-piece vehicle (the back part is plastic, the front mostly die cast), a right fist, a right extended hand, a claw that opens and closes, and a large silver missile. The spring mechanisms still work very well. The paint and stickers appear to be in excellent condition (refer to photos). Appears unbroken. The box is complete and has Styrofoam insert.
Vehicle No. 3 (Battle Tank)
comes with a 3-piece vehicle (chromed plastic back, plastic and die cast middle, and plastic front with functional grabber arms), and 1 white missile. Both missile launcher springs function. Sadly, this vehicle has a small, red plastic clip that holds one of the track arms broken off and missing (both photographs show the damage). The piece attaches with 4 small screws, so if you could find a loose Battle Tank with this piece unbroken, you could presumably repair this easily. The two rubber treads are missing. Box has some fairly heavy wear and is missing a small tab (visible in photo). Comes with Styrofoam insert.
Vehicle No. 4 (Battle Marine)
comes with a two-piece vehicle (front is primarily die cast, back is plastic), 3 large blue missiles, and 2 small blue missiles. Two of the four missile launchers fire well, the other two do not seem to work as well, though the springs appear unbroken. Paint and stickers appear nice (refer to photos) Appears unbroken. The box is complete, however one side flap as been taped back on. Comes with Styrofoam insert.
Vehicle No. 5 (Battle Craft)
comes with two primarily die cast vehicles that attach to each other magnetically, two yellow rockets (?), and two chrome missiles (I just discovered two doors that open and each contain a small chrome gun! Sorry these do not appear in photos). Paint and stickers appear excellent (refer to photos). Both missile launchers work. The box is missing part of one flap (in the photo, it appears to be missing the tab that hold the flap on, but it turns out that it was just pushed back into the box and is in fact present and attached). Appears unbroken. Comes with Styrofoam insert.
Based on my research online, this appears to be a rather rare find. Don't miss out! Who knows when another set will come along?
