    Description

    DESCRIPTION:  You will receive: one (1) vintage oval serving platter.  It is marked on the bottom "UNIVERSAL POTTERIES, INC, CAMBRIDGE OHIO, U.S.A., HIGHLAND, FASCINATION SHAPED BY ALF ROBSON, PATTERN BY EMMA ELSNER".  The platter is unusually shaped, although it's oval it is wider on the top and slightly narrow on the lower side.  Measurements are 12" from top to bottom.  Width at the top is 10 1/4" and width at the bottom is 9 1/4".
    CONDITION:  Platter is in nice shape.  No chips, cracks or breaks.  There are some marks on the underside that are from the mold or firing.  They are not chips.  No signs of crazing, pattern shows no wear.
