VTG PAPER DOLL 1964 BARBIE WEDDING N DRESSES WHITMAN #4605 RARE ORIGINAL!!!

"Barbie Wedding Dress 'N Fashion Clothes", is Whitman #4605 and was published in 1964.  This is one of 5 rare Barbie sets that Whitman did in a different sort of packaging from 1963 to 1965. The sets featured heavy cardboard dolls with plastic stands.  The outfits and accessories came in folded panels on high gloss paper and they were the punch out type.  The box did not have a lid and the set came in a cellophane wrap. The doll in this set, has a slight crease at the neck. The stand is the original for this set.  All of the costumes are punched out and are in good, gently played with condition. There may be some creases. This is close to complete but I'm not going to say that it is. The box is in poor condition.  All of these 4600 series sets are very rare and highly collectable. All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates and from other homes.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it.  I try and list all of the flaws with any paper dolls that I sell.
I only ship to the USA.  I usually take orders to the post office on Tuesday and Friday mornings by 10AM eastern time.
