VTG PAPER DOLLS 1943 BUSY DAY WITH PEG DOT HILDA MILOCHE WHITMAN #966 UNCUT!!

"A Busy Day with Peg and Dot" is Whitman #966 and was published in 1943.  This was the beautiful artwork of Hilda Miloche.  Both of the covers were cut off to remove the dolls and half of the back cover is missing.  The dolls are 11 inches tall and are perfect with no creases or repairs.  All of the fashion pages are intact but there are some tears and creases around the edges.  Please look closely at the photos where you can see the page edges.  I ran out of photo room to show close ups of flaws.  On the last page of fashions, one of the night gowns has been cut partially out.  There is a lot of age tanning of the paper. This book measures 13" x 11".  It's amazing to find this set with the fashions uncut after 78 years!!!
All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates, other homes or purchased here on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it. I try and list all flaws for the paper doll sets that I sell.
