VTG PAPER DOLLS 1985? TWIGGY SUPER MODEL ACTRESS by RALPH HODGDON REPRO?!?

Ralph Hodgdon has brought us so many of these wonderful color and cut books of famous movies and the stars that were in them.  His research of the costumes was extensive and his art shows his knowledge through the intricate detailing of each and every costume he gave us. All of these books are highly collectable for those of us who love paper dolls and Mr. Hodgdon's work!!!  The original books had cardstock covers so if someone is selling one with a paper cover, it's not an original. I really wish that I were a professional colorist when I see things like this.  I've been collecting his work for many years and I'll be selling them gradually.
I purchased this book on good faith that it was an original.  On closer inspection after receiving it, I honestly believe that it is a very good copy.  The cardstock covers are there but just way too white for the age this should be.  I like to see a little bit of tanning on paper this age and all of the paper pages are very white.  Also, the Hodgdon name, date and usual copyright that should be next to the doll on the cover is missing.  So if you don't mind something that is not an original, at a lower cost, here it is.  It's complete and well done.
"Twiggy" is from 1985 and has some wonderful Mod fashions from the 1960s and 70s.  Twiggy was likely the first to become  a "Super Model" and she went on to star in a few movies and also did theater work.  She recently hit the runway again for a charity fashion show, pulling that off in her 60's!!!  This is an original Hodgdon book and one that I don't see very often.  There is one doll and 50 costumes for it.

All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates, other homes or purchased here on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it. I try and list all flaws for the paper doll sets that I sell.
