    Description

Sandra Vanderpool only created about 7 or 8 of these wonderful play books and it's a real treat when you can find them.  The 1902 play books was a series of 4 of them for each season of the year.  In all 4 of them, an entire family of paper dolls was done in color with early 1900's costumes.  Then household furniture was done in black in white to add various rooms for a Victorian home.  Color can be easily added to the furniture since it's so detailed. All of the books measure 8.5" x 7".  The furniture is on cardstock pages and the dolls/costumes are done on a high grade gloss paper.  This is the "Summer 1902" book and it features father and son of the family.  There are 2 dolls with early 1900's costumes for both to spend a leisurely summer together.  The veranda and sunroom furniture is included in this.  Wicker furniture was heavily used in the early 1900's for it's ease of care for being used outdoors.  These play books are very hard to find and highly sought after.  Photos show the entire book.
I've bought my huge collection from estates, other collectors and here on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
I only ship to the USA.  I usually take orders to the post office on Tuesday and Friday mornings by 10AM eastern time.
