    Description

    "Never Give a Sucker an Even Break" was a film from 1941 starring child star Gloria Jean and W.C. Fields.  Sadly, it was to be his last movie.  This is a limited paper doll set that Gloria Jean created and was selling back in 2004.  It is #6 of 25 made and is signed by the actress.  There is one doll and 6 costumes that were in the movie plus a black and white still photo of the cast from the movie. The beautiful art of the doll and outfits was done by Libby Chase. The artistic style reminds me of Marilyn Henry's.  The entire book is done on cardstock.  Everything is shown in the photos.
    I've bought my huge collection from estate sales and from other collectors on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
