    Description

    Louis Wain (1860-1939) was a famous artist who did many items and paintings using his signature big eyed cats.  His original artwork is very valuable today.  These giftbags were created from his Fairytale cat series and are from 1982.  They come from the stories of Little Red Riding Hood, Alladin, Robin Hood and Beauty and the Beast.  The instructions to make each set are on the sides of the bags. Folded, these measure 10.5" x 5.5".  These are very rare and highly collectible for Louis Wain fans!!!
    Please see photos for condition and content.  All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates and from other homes.  I do not know the type of storage the previous collector had.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age and don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
