    Description

    "Around the World with Bob and Barbara" is the original from 1946 and was published by the Ruben H. Lilja company.  The stock number is #194.  Lilja started his company in 1940 with such great artists as Milo Winter, Florence Salter and Josephine Willard, to mention a few.  This booklet has 2 dolls, front and back views with 4 pages of costumes from the 1940s swing era.  There is paper tanning but that's the only flaw to mention.  This is a nice booklet for collectors of the 40s era paper dolls.  The entire booklet is shown in photos.

All of the paper dolls that I offer are from estates, other homes or purchased here on eBay.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is kept in a smoke/pet free area of my home with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  I have a poor sense of smell at my age and am unable to detect odors.  People smoked way back when, so that could linger and I would not be aware of it. I try and list all flaws for the paper doll sets that I sell.
