    Description

This beautiful 2 sheet set of one of the showgirls from the famous "Moulin Rouge" in Paris was created by Jim Faraone for his paper doll mail order business in 1996.  He was also the publisher of the "Paper Doll Pal" newsletter which ran for a long time.  I've tried to find old back issues of it but it's near impossible.  This is the only full issue of it I have ever seen. The 1996 National Paper Doll convention was held in Troy, Michigan and was themed "The Fabulous Fashions of Motown".   Mr. Faraone does a wonderful job on the article covering the convention.  He includes mention of the souvenirs given there.  He also includes an article about the Barbie Convention held the same year. There is a page in the newsletter where Faraone advertises his "Moulin Rouge" paper dolls.  Both of these items are very rare and would be a great addition to your collection!!!
I've bought my huge collection from estate sales and from other collectors on here.  I don't know the previous storage history.  My collection is stored in a smoke/pet free area in my home, with a dehumidifier running 24/7.  People did smoke back then, I have a poor sense of smell at my age, and I don't know if that lingers.  I try to list all flaws with the paper dolls that I sell.
I only ship to the USA.
